Math, Spelling, Vocab, and Science Bee Regional Contests

North South Foundation (NSF) Milwaukee Chapter is conducting Math and Spelling Bee workshops on Saturday 02/04/2012. Attached please find the document with more details on workshops.

MATH LEVELS 1 and 2 (separate workshops for each level):

Math workshops will cover the following - Importance of Math, Math is fun, Role of Students and Parents, and Problem Solving Strategies. Children will solve problems using these strategies during the workshop. Practice problems, answers and references will also be provided.

SPELLING (Junior and Senior combined):

Spelling workshops will cover the rules of spelling with words from the NSF database used as examples for each rule. Workshops include a lot of dictation, dictionary skills, pronunciation skills, prefixes, suffixes and roots. A mock bee will be conducted. Additional exercises for homework are included.
